1 cup of red cabbage, shredded
1/3 cup of ginger,sliced
3 medium size beets,sliced
1 sweet potato
6 baby carrots
2 plantains, sliced
4 garlic cloves
seaweed (kelp and wakame)
6 to 8 cups of water
- bring water to boil
- add ginger, beets, sweet potato and kelp
- cook for 10 minutes
- add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes
- sprinkle with chopped cilantro
